As part of CRIPtic 2021 we ran a series of workshops and development opportunities for deaf and disabled creatives. These are on various parts of building a career – from access to publicity.

These workshops included

A public workshop on integrated access led by Jess Thom (TourettesHero).

A workshop for our lead artists on integrated audio-description led by Quiplash (Amelia and Al Lander-Cavallo).

A public workshop on accessing Arts Council England funding for deaf and disabled artists, led by Arts Council England

A workshop on integrating BSL into performance led by David Ellington

A workshop on creative captioning led by Samuel Dore

The broader CRIPtic programme is also running workshops and development for writers in conjunction with Spread the Word, which you can also find more about on our CRIPtic Writers page.
