Synopsis

CRIPtic x Lewisham Micro-Festival is bursting onto the scene on 16th July, with a day of workshops and performances celebrating the explosive talent of deaf and disabled people in the borough.

Running as part of Lewisham Borough of Culture 2022, over the day you can dive into workshops brimming with creativity and learn to scratch records from found materials, create poetry and turn recycling into craft.

As the sun sets, we’ve got an incredible lineup of performances from poet Daniel Sluman (recently shortlisted for TS Eliot Prize), singer-songwriter and poet Miss Jacqui (Roundhouse, Southbank, Theatre Royal Stratford East), singer-songwriter Grace Mackenzie Parker, poet Antonia Jade King, and Deaf Sign-Song Rapper and member of Deaf Rave, MC Geezer.
