As part of our 2021 season we are running a series of workshops for d/Deaf and disabled creatives. These are on various parts of building a career – from access to publicity. We are offering limited places on these workshops and development opportunities by registration. This is to keep attendance small, and therefore offer effective conversation and collaboration.

Our first three workshops of 2021 were:

A public workshop on integrated access led by Jess Thom (TourettesHero).

A workshop for our lead artists on integrated audio-description led by Quiplash (Amelia and Al Lander-Cavallo).

A public workshop on accessing Arts Council England funding for d/Deaf and disabled artists, led by Arts Council England

The broader CRIPtic programme is also running workshops and development for writers in conjunction with Spread the Word. These include an online retreat for d/Deaf and disabled writers (applications close 5th July 2021). We then also offer a writers’ salon, with workshops, development space, and time to work 1:1 on one’s writing, with registrations ongoing throughout the year.
