There are lots of different ways for you to get involved in CRIPtic projects – attending workshops and events, working with us, or bringing your great idea to us. We want to be agile, responsive and flexible to the demand we face because we don’t know where we’ll find the next big thing.

To see what we’ve got available at the moment, have a look at our What’s On page. This highlights what we’re bringing to d/Deaf and disabled artists at the moment. If you want to get involved in projects, shows, and more, then you have to check it out.

If things look quiet at CRIPtic and you can’t see any projects to join, don’t panic! Spread the Word are partners on many of our projects and often have opportunities available, for instance.

Other places you might want to look at include other established d/Deaf and disabled-led arts projects and theatre companies. We recommend the Disability Arts Networking Consortium (DANC), and DaDaFest.

We admire lots of d/Deaf and disabled-led theatre companies, from Graeae and Birds of Paradise Theatre to Deafinitely Theatre, Access All Areas, and Extant. There are also programmes like Ramps On The Moon and Graeae’s Ensemble that train d/Deaf and disabled theatre-makers.

If you’re looking for opportunities and you don’t know where to look, contact us. We have connections across the disability arts world and we’d love to put you in touch.
