In 2021, we collaborated with Fig Films to make a disability arts documentary. We’re so excited to share it with you now! Call Us CRIPtic takes you on a journey through our Barbican showcase. It explores what it means to be a disabled artist making work, and what we’re trying to achieve as an organisation.

From our beginnings as a show in 2019 onwards, we have always tried to revolutionise the disability arts world. We put access at the centre of our work, commit to our artists, and work to make change. This documentary showcases our work, our commitments, and the achievements of all the artists who came together to make groundbreaking work, and lifelong connections.

In this disability arts documentary, we explore the reason we started – and why we still exist. Talking to some fabulous artists, including Miss Jacqui, Oli Isaac, Alice Christina Corrigan, MC Geezer, Flawbored, Deaf Rave, and the wider cast of people who came together to develop our show, we hope this documentary will explore the need we fill – and the change we’re hoping to make in the world.
